Custom Compounding Services
Pharmacy Compounding is the art and science of preparing customized medication for patients. Each compounded prescription is created to the prescriber’s specifications to meet the patient’s unique needs and improve patient compliance and outcomes. Using commercially available products, high tech molds, bulk chemicals, and new drug delivery systems, our pharmacy can compound medications that give the prescriber control of the dosage form and strength of medication.
Is the patient allergic to fillers, dyes, preservatives, or other additives? We can make medications allergy free, lactose free, alcohol free, and sugar free. Melrose Pharmacy is proud to be the first pharmacy in Phoenix to offer the My One Pac service to our patients who take multiple medications. My One Pac is a customized packaging solution that helps patients take the right medications at the right time, each and every day. We will pre-sort and package your prescriptions into the sealed, clear, plastic packs, and print your name; day and time of dose; and medication names, strengths, and descriptions onto each pack. We can even print reminders for using liquid medications and inhalers on your packs. My One Pac reduces risk and increases convenience for those taking medications at home.
Melrose Pharmacy can supply patients with a weekly or monthly strip of packs, which are rolled into a convenient dispensing box. This provides a quick and easy way to verify that the last dose was taken, and minimizes potential errors. Imagine no longer sorting pills into weekly medication dividers, or stuffing your cabinets with medication bottles and boxes. Let us do the sorting for you! Your medications come organized by date and time, securely sealed in individual easy to open packages. When it’s time to take your next dose, just tear the package off the roll and your pills are sorted and ready.
We take pride in offering our customers the safest, most convenient prescription filling options available, which promote better compliance and reduce wasted medications. My one Pac helps patients make home medications more manageable. My One Pac makes it easier for caregivers to administer medications, and easier for seniors to adhere to complex medication regimens. My One Pac is arthritic-approved, and is a safe, convenient way to help extend independence and health.
My One Pacs are also great for busy travelers and children who must take medications at school. The pre-sorted medications and clear, printed directions remove all the guesswork, and minimize the risk of missing a medication or taking the wrong dose.
